Expert advice for Natural Nails
Nails in need of some TLC?
First thing first...book an appointment with us for a manicure and let us help you to take care of them. You will leave the salon with the best possible start to better looking nails, and remember to purchase a solaroil. From there, you can follow my homecare advice to having well groomed nails.
Homecare Advice
* Apply solar oil daily to encourage nail strength and to
moisturise cuticles. A top selling product, solar oil really does
work. Remember to apply your hand cream too, which helps
keep your skin looking young and moist.
* If you are washing, tidying or gardening etc use gloves
(ALWAYS!).
* Keep a nail file in your handbag in case you nick a nail - this
can help save your nail with a quick file to smooth edge.
* Put an extra coat of topcoat on your nails to prolong your
polish.
* The more aware you are of your nails and hands and take
care of them the quicker they will look good.
* Regular manicure including an oil buff. Book a series of
appointments to commit to great looking nails.
Expert advice for Nail Extensions

If you follow these simple guidelines, your nail extensions will stay beautiful, be long lasting and cause no damage to the natural nail at all. Many problems are caused by not coming in for a follow up appointment - regular maintenance is the key!
* If you have thick cuticles, I would recommend a manicure
prior to extensions to prepare the nail plate for workable
application of product
* If you bite or pick your nails, a warning must be given that if
habit continues while wearing extensions, it will weaken them
and cause damage to natural nails - our advice? try and
stop! Your nails will thank you for it :)
* Do not use extensions as tools to pick or scratch at things -
this places undue pressure on the extension which may cause
breakage
* Always wear rubber gloves in water to avoid them becoming
dry and brittle.
* Relative to your lifestyle and activity levels, extensions may
need 2 or 3 weekly maintenance. Do not pull if lifting as this causes damage.
* Extension can be removed safely in an appropriate remover
followed by manicure to restore moisture and to condition
natural nail
* Please avoid pulling backwards against the tip of the nails,
can cause injury and/or breakage
e.g car doors , light switches, washing out of machine etc
I recommend you use solar oil once a day to keep extension flexible and conditioned. Leave your extensions alone and let me look after them for you, I'll do the maintenance while you have fun and enjoy your nails.
